SOAPSTONE WARMTH MEETS
MODERN CONVENIENCE
The Perfect Solution When You Can’t Heat with Wood!

Important gas stove production note:

Our gas stoves are not currently in production.  In January of 2015, Federal Regulations went into effect stipulating that any gas appliance built after that date must have a system that does NOT have a pilot that stays on all the time.  This means all of our gas stoves require a re-engineering of the internal mechanisms to include a pilot light that will work thermostatically and not be on at all times.  We will be keeping customers updated on this process and hope to have our gas stoves back in production in the future.  If you would like to be on our official ‘waiting list’ for news on our gas stove production for a particular model (Fireside Franklin, Cottage Franklin, and Mini Franklin), please call us at 1-800-866-4344, or email us through This email address is being protected from spambots. "I’ve bought five so far!! The look of these stoves will go perfect with the rustic decor and will be beautiful to look at. There isn’t a way to run central heat with all the exposed rafters and this way of heating the barn is foolproof, even if the power goes out.

“Keep spreading the word about soapstone...” “We are so pleased with our gas stove. The installation was completed the night it dipped to 12 degrees F, which is terribly cold for southeast Virginia. The gas stove gives off a bone-warming radiant heat. Our dog was by it all evening. I called many times to ask questions and your people were amazingly calm, patient, and friendly. Keep spreading the word about soapstone as an alternative to cast iron. It's amazing how it holds in the heat, plus it’s beautiful and looks like fine marble.
