Note Regarding EPA 2020 Approvals/Covid-19
New EPA Woodstove Regulations went into effect May 15, 2020. These regulations require new stoves to have lower emissions than were previously required. All of our stoves have been successfully tested to these new regulations, and the test results have been certified and sent to EPA for review and approval. If you have ordered or are ordering a Progress, Fireview, Keystone or Palladian wood stove, there may be a slight delay in shipping during the early summer while EPA reviews and approves these models. We also started to resume production on May 18 after a two month lockdown, and we expect some delays due to the shutdown.
Some of our recent EPA tests were conducted with a new cordwood test method, so emissions results on re-tested stoves will vary from previous results. We plan to post an analysis and discussion of the test results in early June. Please note that there are no changes to dimensions, specifications, or prices on any of these models – they all passed the new standards.
